WHAT IS MFA TEACHER EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVES PROGRAMME ?

As education continues to evolve, the teacher correspondingly safeguards the personal growth of students leading to great career paths and social wellbeing. The 21st Century teacher teaches, leads, and empowers tomorrow’s leaders to be equipped with critical and analytical thinking skills, confidence, resilience, and creativity.

But then again, how much effort is actually being invested into empowering teachers to be prepared for 21st Century education?

At the same time, there are many technical smartphone filmmaking workshops out there. These however either emphasize just on the creativity of content creation portion or emphasize just on teaching technical basics. Neither teaches the participants about how filmmaking can be used as a teaching tool.

The stand out factor of the MFA Teacher Empowerment Initiative Workshop is that it is designed to cultivate interest and joy in filmmaking, by employing smartphone filmmaking as part of the teaching pedagogy and assessment plans into developing more independent, critical, creative, analytical, attentive and knowledgeable students.

In essence, the MFA Teacher Empowerment Initiative Workshop uses the power of smartphone filmmaking to empower teachers into creating better learning experiences, to better manage time and teaching resources, and have better student-teacher interaction and interdependence in the classroom in preparing students for the 21st Century.
